Pinksie, this one's for you:

I've had several complaints about the last background I had on my blog (even though they were from the same person). So, in order to make someone happy, I've changed the blog a bit. If you notice the palm trees in the background, they're there to remind me that I'm going to Vegas in a few short weeks. I'm so excited!!!

Blessings:

Today I mustered the courage to take my ipod touch back to Costco. Yes, I was aware that they have a 90 day return policy, and I am also aware that I bought it five months ago ~ but it quit holding a charge and the music was coming out super soft ~ moving on. I got to Costco right when it opened hoping to beat the rush and get a fresh customer service rep (before the day had gotten to them). I did beat the rush, but someone must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I left Costco discouraged and decided to go to the mall for some "therapy". The thought (spirit) came to me that I should take the ipod to the MAC store and see if they could fix it. They got me right in to look at my ipod and ended up swapping it for a new one. I feel so blessed!

P.S.

P.S. We're signed up to do our second 1/2 in October! I'm so excited!!!

Mr. and the Mrs.

I finally was able to download this photo now that we have my parent's old computer hooked up (thanks mom and dad).

This was right after we finished the 1/2 marathon and it's the only picture I sprang for. I'm hoping to decorate our wall with a lot of these photos.

Not your Cheetos

The funniest thing happened. Apollo is quite the climber. During one of his climbing raids of the pantry he discovered his dad's fire cheetos. I HATE cheetos because of the endless orange, in this case red, mess they leave everywhere. When I found Ollie with red fingers and mouth, it didn't take too long to know that he had found the cheetos, but where did they go? Can you find them?

All My Baldies

Here they all are with their beautiful round heads.

Everyone's BUZZED!

Everyone's buzzed. I just couldn't resist having all my kids have the same haircut, because there will never again be a time when it's normal for Halea to have a buzz cut. And they all look super cute. I'll post pictures later!

BUZZED

I decided to finish Parker's buzz jobs on him and Halea. I think it turned out pretty well. I was surprised at how very little hair came off of Halea's head and it made me feel better about the whole thing. She's still beautiful.

Parker is not enjoying his buzz as much, but I think it's a good lesson in the "leave the clippers alone" department. He's excited for it to grow back.

Halea's First Haircut

My darling, beautiful, bald baby girl received her first haircut on Saturday. Despite not having much hair to begin with, Parker took the clippers (Ryan's facial hair trimmers) to his sister's head. She didn't seem to mind at all, but I definitely did. I've debated whether to shave it all or just to leave it and I guess I'm just going to leave it. She's still beautiful even with a really bad haircut.
