Every time one of the kids has a bloody mouth, Ryan frantically checks their teeth to make sure they haven't hurt their teeth. We have been blessed to have only dealt with minor mouth injuries...until tonight. Apollo and Parker were playing and somehow Apollo fell off of our dresser. His mouth was very bloody, his two front teeth were pushed back, and one of his i teeth was pushed forward. He will be checked by the dentist tomorrow to see if his teeth need to come out or not.
Update: I took these photos this morning. I thought overnight he would look better, but he looks worse today. He's more swollen and he can't form his words right. The pictures don't show his gums where most of the damage is. He had a chocolate pediasure because he can't eat solid foods until we get this resolved. He got a lot of it around his mouth and down his chin ~ and I think he looks like a cute monkey. Poor guy.

I hope they don't have to come out but at least it'll be over with if they do. If they stay, you'll probably have to go back pretty often to have them checked out and you'll have to watch for assessing. Sorry, Bonks!!

p.s.) really having 2nd and 3rd thoughts about the marathon. it's so close yet my foot's still hurt, and my heart's just not in it the same as the first time. who knows?
